Coordination of Activities

Data and information shall be shared, and the quality improvement process and activities coordinated, with performance monitoring activities within the organization to facilitate planning, implementation and evaluation of clinical care and service issues via the corporate clinical and service committee structure and other reporting processes.  Multidisciplinary review, recommendations, and evaluation of corporate performance include, but is not limited to:

  1. Clinical key indicators (including HEDIS)
  2. Satisfaction and complaint results
  3. Operational system and service performance
  4. Member and practitioner/provider services and education initiatives
  5. Network performance in terms of accessibility and availability of practitioner/providers
  6. Benefits design
  7. Utilization and financial indicators
  8. Continuity and coordination of care
  9. Patient safety
  10. Health disparities
