Patient status information
In this section, we refer to new and established patients. A new patient has never been seen in your practice before and has not been listed on your member listing. An established patient:
- Has been listed on your capitation/member listing more than one month, regardless of whether or not the member has been seen as a patient in your office
- Has been seen in your practice under other insurance coverage prior to becoming a Priority Health member
- Retains his or her status as an established patient unless you have informed him or her otherwise in writing
