Low-tech radiology service providers
Practitioner offices are privileged by specialty to perform low-tech diagnostic radiology services. They do not need to participate in the quality assessment process outlined below.

maging facilities are not assessed for low-tech radiology.

Radiology provider quality assessment process
- Administered by American Imaging Management (AIM). Get details at www.providerportal.com.
- Evaluates a site's equipment, imagers' qualifications, policies and procedures to ensure that the site meets safety and quality standards.
- Sites may be required to go through assessment every 3 years.
