Priority Health sponsors 2005 Tunnel Walk for Wings

June 25 event to benefit Wings of Mercy

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., May 10, 2005 - As part of its Be Active community outreach campaign, encouraging individuals and families to increase physical activity, Priority Health announces sponsorship of the 2005 Tunnel Walk for Wings. The event is scheduled for June 25 at the Tulip City Airport in Holland, and welcomes the public to walk through the airport tunnel and make a donation to benefit Wings of Mercy.

Priority Health will double the donation of individuals who show their Priority Health card at the tunnel entrance, will provide Be Active wrist bands to the first 2,500 people, and will sell pedometers for $5 each with proceeds going to Wings of Mercy. The company's sponsorship also includes donation of event signage and marketing materials, and organizational involvement.

The Tunnel Walk for Wings will happen during Wings' Care Affaire's breakfast fundraising event. Plane rides and breakfast are available for set donations. Visit wingsofmercy.org for more information. Wings of Mercy is a Holland-based organization providing free air transportation for people with limited financial means who need treatment at distant medical facilities.
