Priority Health hires Michael Foust, M.D., as director of medical affairs

(JACKSON, Mich. – March 10, 2008) Priority Health has hired Michael Foust, M.D., as director of medical affairs for the Jackson area. In this role, his responsibilities include working with physicians at Foote Hospital to help them achieve the best care and outcomes for members as well as serving as a liaison between Priority Health and the Jackson community.

In addition to his work with Priority Health, Foust is a practicing family physician at Townsend Medical Center in Jackson. He has served as Chief of Family Medicine at Foote Hospital since January 2007. He also serves as medical director at Southern Care Hospice.

Foust earned his medical degree at the University of Michigan School of Medicine in Ann Arbor. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in cellular and molecular biology from U-M.
