Priority Health VP George Conte authors chapter for new marketing book
(GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – April 9, 2008) George Conte, vice president for marketing and customer experience at Priority Health, is among the featured authors of Inside the Minds: Capitalizing on Marketing Trends.
The book draws from the experiences of chief marketing officers for companies and organizations across the country. Conte's contribution is a chapter titled "Trends that Matter." In it, he discusses how advances in technology have altered consumers' purchasing processes, even relating to their health care coverage. "As individuals take on the responsibility of how they use their health care dollars, they're starting to look at health plans like consumer goods and services," Conte writes. "They’re demanding the convenience of 24/7 access by phone, online and through a variety of other channels." Throughout his career, Conte has held senior-level marketing positions at such firms as Eastman Kodak and IBM. He has directed the development of several global brands and in launching several products. Conte has been with Priority Health since 2004. Inside the Minds is published by Aspatore Books, a Boston-based division of Thomson Publishing. Aspatore is the largest publisher of works authored by C-level executives.
