GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (October 3, 2007) - Priority Health, a Michigan-based health plan, has partnered with Wiley Publishing to release a free book about Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. Medicare Part D for Dummies utilizes the Dummies brand, format and key icons to help users navigate Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plans.
The book was written by Priority Health's LouAnn Lefere-Shawver, a Medicare expert, who has worked with thousands of Medicare Advantage recipients.
"There are more and more affordable options for health care and prescription-drug coverage for people who are eligible for Medicare" said Shawver. "But with more choices come difficult decisions. Medicare recipients may enroll between November 15, 2007 and December 31, 2007.
