Summer fun at Maranda's Park Parties

It was another fun-filled summer at Maranda’s Park Parties! Priority Health partnered with TV personality Maranda of WOTV 4 to bring fun to West Michigan. The parties concluded July 30 with a great party at the Allegan County Fairgrounds. Priority Health made appearances at all seven Park Parties.

Each week Priority Health distributed 3,500 free backpacks. The bright green bags were the “hot items.” Fans were lining up an hour before each party for them. Our MIChild promotional message, “Hey Mom, I’m covered for $10 bucks a month!” was featured on each bag. Priority Health handed out nearly 25,000 bags in total!

Priority Health also sponsored the “Tour de Tots,” a bike rodeo for toddlers at the Kalamazoo and Holland Park Parties. The “Tour de Tots” was a great way for toddlers to take part in a fun activity. Members from the Priority Health Cycling Team were on hand to help the tots through the obstacle course. Kids had a blast weaving their way through the cones and sounding the bike horn at the end.
