Your radiology and ER doctor bill payments

(July 24, 2008) There are changes in how Priority Health is paying bills for some radiologists and ER doctors (see the hospital listings below). This is a temporary change while new contracts are being negotiated between Priority Health and these health care providers. These contracts are important because they help to keep your health care affordable.
  • You may still get care from these two groups of doctors.
  • You’ll have normal coverage.
  • There is no change in the amount you'll owe.

Summary of Changes
Advanced Radiology Services (ARS) Emergency Care Specialists (ECS)
1. ARS will bill Priority Health. 1. ECS will bill Priority Health.
2. Priority Health will send ARS a check. 2. Priority Health will send you a check (attached to your Explanation of Benefits).
3. If ARS sends you a bill, don't pay it.
Instead, call Customer Service.
3. ECS will send a bill to you. Use the check to pay this bill.

  • Holland Hospital
  • Metro Health
  • MMPC Imaging Center
  • Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital
  • Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital
  • Spectrum Health – Kelsey Campus
  • Spectrum Health – Kent Community Campus
  • Spectrum Health – Reed City
  • Three Rivers Hospital
  • Zeeland Community Hospital
  • Gerber Memorial Hospital
  • Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital
  • Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital
  • Spectrum Health United Memorial
  • Zeeland Community Hospital
