PriorityMedicare Now Offered in 14 Michigan Counties

(October 1, 2006) Priority Health is pleased to announce that we have expanded the service area for our 2007 PriorityMedicare and PriorityMedicarePlus plans from three counties to 14. Beginning in January, we will offer these two plans in: Allegan, Antrim, Benzie, Crawford, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Kent, Leelanau, Manistee, Montcalm, Muskegon, Oceana, Osceola and Ottawa counties.

These two Medicare Advantage plans offer medical benefits such as coverage for doctor visits and hospital stays as well as prescription drug coverage. We also offer a Medicare prescription drug plan, PriorityMedicareRx, to all eligible residents of Michigan.

The enrollment period for PriorityMedicare plans for 2007 runs from November 15 through December 31, 2006. Keep in mind that Medicare beneficiaries may only enroll in or disenroll from a plan during specific times of the year, unless newly eligible for Medicare.
