Diabetes and Asthma Camps for Kids

The American Diabetes Association sponsors a diabetes camp for kids ages 8 to 16. This camp is held every year at Camp Midicha in Fenton, Mich. Camp sessions are usually held in July and August. There are activities for all age groups. Doctors and nurses staff the camp.

The DeVos Children's Hospital Asthma Camp is held every year at Camp Tall Turf. The camp is located on the shores of Lake Campbell, outside Hesperia, Mich. Kids ages 8 to 13 can go. Camp will be held in July or August. Camp Tall Turf offers archery, boating, crafts and more. The camp has doctors and nurses. Kids who can attend camp got an invitation and request form in the mail.
