Managing back & neck pain
If you are have neck and back pain or other spine-related problem that just won't go away, ask your doctor if you can go to a Priority Health Spine Center of Excellence (COE). These are clinics that we call Centers of Excellence for their great record of helping patients and their success rates. They offer you:
- Complete medical evaluations
- Time to discuss all treatment options, both non-surgical and surgical
- Close communication with you and your primary care doctor about your treatment

You need a referral from your doctor
You don't need a referral from Priority Health, but most Spine Centers of Excellence require a referral from a physician. You might get your referral from:
- A primary care physician or other specialist
- An emergency room physician
- An urgent care center
