Perrigo Acetaminophen Recall

November 9, 2006 - Perrigo and FDA have announced a nationwide recall of acetaminophen 500mg caplets, manufactured and distributed under various store-brands, due to small metal fragments found in a small number of these caplets. To date, there have been no reports of illness or injury related to this problem. The recall affects nearly 11 million bottles of the nonprescription acetaminophen 500mg caplets.
