When To Enroll
Most people may only enroll in or disenroll from a plan during specific times of the year. If you're newly eligible, you can enroll in the three months before, and up to three months after, your 65th birthday month.



Avoid Penalties
There's a penalty for some people who join a Medicare Part D plan late. Find out how to avoid this penalty.

Follow these four easy steps:

Step 1: Choose the right plan for you.
Step 2: Read the Eligiblity and Enrollment information.
Step 3: Print the Enrollment form for the plan you've chosen.
Step 4: Fill out the Enrollment form and mail it to us.

PriorityMedicareRxSM
  • Offers the same Medicare Part D prescription coverage as PriorityMedicare, but no medical coverage
  • Is available throughout Michigan
  • Costs $30.10 a month*

*Note: If You qualify for extra help with your Medicare Prescription Drug Plan costs, your premium and drug costs will be lower.
When you join PriorityMedicare, PriorityMedicarePlus, or PriorityMedicareRx, Medicare will tell us how much extra help you are getting. Then, we will let you know the amount you will pay. If you aren't getting any extra help, you can see if you qualify by calling:
  • 1-800 MEDICARE (1-800-633-4227), (TTY/TDD users should call 1-877-486-2048, 24 hours a day/7 days a week), or
  • Your State Medicaid Office, or
  • The Social Security Administration at 1-800-772-1213 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. TTY/TDD users should call 1-800-325-0778.
