How your HRA works

  1. First, you pay 100% of your family's health care costs up to a required amount per family. You pay your doctors, hospitals, etc., directly.
  2. Once you reach that amount, then your HRA begins to pay for your family's health care costs. The HRA sends payments directly to your doctors, hospitals, etc.
  3. Once all your family's HRA money is spent, you pay 100% of your health care costs again until you reach your health plan's individual and/or family deductibles.
  4. After that you pay only copayments/coinsurance for covered services, and Priority Health pays the rest.
