An
Individual Deductible is the amount you pay for services for any one individual on your policy before plan benefits start. See your Certificate of Coverage or policy documents for details.
- Only certain services covered by your policy apply to the deductible.
- This deductible must be met each plan year.
- Most Priority Health plans pay for preventive care services such as physicals whether you have met your deductible or not.
- The individual deductible does not apply if you are enrolled in a PriorityHSASM plan with a Health Savings Account and you have more than one person on your policy.
Example: Your plan's individual deductible is $1,000. This means that you or any individual on your policy must pay a total of $1,000 towards certain covered medical expenses before plan benefits start. This amount may be limited if you are on a family policy.
