Priority Health - Family Preferred Deductible

Family Preferred Deductible

When you have a Point-of-Service plan, covered services are paid at either the Preferred level or the Alternate level, depending upon how you seek services. See your Certificate of Coverage for details.

A Family Preferred Deductible is the maximum your family will pay for certain covered Preferred-level services before Preferred plan benefits begin to pay.
  • Only certain Preferred-level services covered by your policy apply to the Preferred-level deductible.
  • This deductible must be met each plan year.
  • Once you have met your family Preferred-level deductible, individual Preferred-level deductibles no longer apply.
  • Most Priority Health plans pay for preventive care services such as physicals whether you have met your deductible or not.
