What is an extremity X-ray?
An extremity X-ray produces a picture of your hand, wrist, arm, foot, ankle, knee, or leg. It is done to determine whether your bone has been fractured or dislocated or to evaluate an injury or damage from conditions such as infection, arthritis, abnormal bone growths or other bone diseases.
