Where the Savings Are

HealthbyChoice IncentivesSM plans may save employers money. Here's how:
  • All HealthbyChoice IncentivesSM plans are copayment aligned; members pay higher copayments for higher priced health care services. This design offers employers approximately 3 to 5% savings over a standard Priority Health plan.
  • The dual plan design - Standard and Choice - enables us to offer a "combined' rate, which is less than the rate would be for a comparable plan with only the better level of benefits. This can generate an additional 6 to 9% savings overall, and enable employers to offer an exceptional benefit package for less than the cost of comparable plans.
  • HealthbyChoice Incentives encourages healthier employee behaviors, which may translate into less absenteeism and greater productivity and impact employers' bottom line.
  • Time savings: as a best-in-class product that doesn't require much customization, there are no additional administrative requirements for employers over a regular health plan.
