POS health coverage from Priority Health

Flexibility for your employees

Our PriorityPOSSM, or point-of-service, health plan offers great flexibility by providing two levels of medical benefits.
  • Preferred benefits: When employees get their health care through their primary care physician (PCP) and other health care providers in our network, they'll pay a lower copay.
  • Alternate benefits: When employees choose to go to out-of-network doctors, labs and hospitals, they'll pay a higher copay.
No matter what option your employees choose, your organization saves money with a low-cost health plan that gives your employees great flexibility in and control over their health care.

PriorityPOS features & advantages

  • No paperwork - we automatically process claims for in-network visits
  • Easy employee enrollment via your secure priorityhealth.com account
  • Great flexibility for your employees - they choose service at the Preferred Benefits level or Alternate Benefits level
  • Employees are covered at the Preferred Benefit level for emergency care wherever they travel
  • Members must select a PCP (but don't need a referral to see a specialist). If a member has not selected a PCP, one will be auto-assigned to them.
  • Uses two different physician networks based on your plan funding: PriorityPOS A for fully funded groups and PriorityPOS B for self-funded or shared funding groups
  • Hassle-free customer service with extended phone service hours, calls answered within seconds and e-mail responses within 24 hours
  • Web tools such as interactive health assessments, medical libraries, a prescription drug price comparison tool and more to help employees understand their health needs and choices
  • Can be paired with PriorityHSASM, our health savings account (HSA), or PriorityHRASM, our health reimbursement arrangement (HRA)
(When set up as a high deductible health plan. Learn more about PriorityHSA or PriorityHRA.)
