Don't miss our two Grand Cycling Classics in September
Grand Rapids: September 6, 2008 - 10 a.m.
The nation's elite cyclists will once again "hit the bricks" on the 1.2-kilometer race loop in downtown Grand Rapids. Join us as we raise the stakes this year with a National Racing Calendar-qualified race that features a $30,000 purse. The Priority Health Grand Cycling Classic was a hit in its first year, bringing nearly 6,000 spectators, 200 cyclists and 200 kids and their families to downtown Grand Rapids.
Ann Arbor: September 7, 2008 - 10 a.m.
One wasn't enough! The nation's elite cyclists will also hit the streets of downtown Ann Arbor on a 1.35-kilometer race loop for the first annual Priority Health Ann Arbor Cycling Classic. Spectators can cheer on cyclists as they loop around Main, Liberty, Ashley and Washington streets at speeds reaching almost 40 miles per hour.
The event will feature five races and another $30,000 purse. There will also be free children's races for kids 9 and under. Visit priorityhealthclassic.com for more information on both events.
