Your employees can save money: Insulin copays changing

(December 23, 2011)

Starting Jan. 1, 2012, members of our MyPrioritySM and employer-sponsored plans* have a lower-cost insulin option! We're moving Humalog® and Humulin® insulins to a generic drug copay. This will make managing diabetes more affordable.

At the same time, we're changing Novolin® and Novolog® to a non-preferred brand copay. Depending on your plan, this may increase the amount your employees pay for these brands of insulin.

They can save money by asking their doctors if Humalog and Humulin are right for then.
