We're changing mail order Rx vendors on Oct. 1
(August 18, 2010)
On Oct. 1, 2010, we're going to begin using Express Scripts home delivery pharmacy instead of Walgreens mail service for mail order pharmacy. This change will allow us to even further manage pharmacy costs while providing great service to your employees using mail order.
Employees use mail order for 90-day supplies of medications they take regularly. They save money because they usually pay only two copays - instead of three - for a 90-day supply.
To ensure that your employees experience minimal disruption, in most cases, their prescriptions will be automatically transferred to Express Scripts. We're sending a letter with full details to all your employees in September, and agents have been notified.
If you have questions, please contact your agent, your Priority Health account manager or the Priority Health Small Business department.
If your employees have questions, they should contact Priority Health customer service at the number on the back of their ID card.
