HRA plans are now a little easier

(April 2008) The Priority Health PriorityHRASM plan just got a little easier. Beginning in April, both employers and employees will notice improvements to our popular "health-plan-plus-health-reimbursement-arrangement" offering.
  • Quick, automatic reimbursements. We'll continue to automatically send medical payments and HRA reimbursements to providers. And now we've eliminated the one-week lag between processing the medical plan portion and the HRA portion.
  • Expanded eligible expenses. Employers can now designate that their HRA funds be used for employees' medical deductible expenses, coinsurance expenses, or both. Additionally, employers can now exclude out-of-network expenses from HRA reimbursement.
  • Simplified statements. We'll send your employees a single, easy-to-understand Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statement listing both the medical and HRA payments made on each claim. No more double EOBs.
  • More online help. We've updated this website with more HRA information. Employees can see detailed claims information and HRA balances by logging in to their personal accounts. 
  • Automated report delivery. We've streamlined our process. That means you'll get a monthly, electronic HRA Employer Account Balance report that you can use to help track employee HRA balances. Reports will be delivered via your FileMart account, with data provided in both a PDF and a flat file format.
