HMO now covers 65 counties

Priority Health, Michigan’s top-rated health plan, has expanded the coverage area for its HMO product. With this expansion, Priority Health now covers 65 of the 68 counties in Michigan’s Lower Peninsula including metropolitan areas such as southeastern Michigan.

Coverage has expanded within Bay and Tuscola counties. In addition, Priority Health now covers portions of Huron, Sanilac, Lapeer and Arenac. The expansion was approved by the State of Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance Regulation (OFIR), which regulates health plans.
