PriorityHSA SM medical plans cover all preventive care
services like physical exams and immunizations. There is no copay. The
deductible does not apply. This makes it easy to seek the routine care that
keeps little problems from becoming big ones. Plus, the plans include
out-of-pocket maximums that protect employees against big medical
expenses.
PriorityHSA health plan features
- A strong health insurance provider network. More than 90 percent of the
physicians in our service area participate with Priority Health.
- Discounts. Priority Health negotiates discounted prices with our
network physicians, hospitals, and pharmacies. This means employees pay not
the full "retail" price for their care but our discounted price, until they
meet the deductible.
- A high deductible. The employee pays the full cost (minus Priority
Health's discount) for medical services and prescriptions until they meet
the deductible. Then, the health plan begins to pay out benefits for
services covered under the plan.
- Preventive services such as physical exams and immunizations are
covered at no copay. The costs do not apply to the health insurance
deductible. We want members to get routine medical care now to help
them avoid the more invasive and risky services later.
- Out-of-pocket maximum. Once this maximum has been reached, employees
will pay nothing for covered medical services and prescription drugs for
the rest of the plan year.
- Prescription drugs. Drugs covered by the plan count toward the
deductible and out-of-pocket maximum. Additionally, over-the-counter drugs
an employee takes due to an injury or medical condition can be paid for
using the health savings account funds. See qualified
expenses.
- Hassle-free customer service includes extended phone service hours
(including Saturday mornings), calls answered within seconds, and e-mail
responses within 24 hours.
- Web tools such as interactive health assessments, medical libraries, a
prescription drug price comparison tool and more help employees understand
their health needs and choices.
- Minimal paperwork. When employees stay in-network they won't need to
file health insurance claims.
- HealthyEncountersSM programs help members of Priority
Health plans take better care of their health.
