Setting Up HSAs

Employers can choose one of our list of local banks or Mellon Trust of New England, N.A., a national leader in the field, to set up members' HSAs.

Banks provide:
  • Each employee's HSA bank account, with a checkbook and debit card to pay expenses from it
  • Educational materials and customer service support when employers or employees have questions
  • Tax reporting
  • Monthly account statements for each employee showing  their HSA account balances

Visit the Mellon website for more information on HSAs. This link will open in a new browser window. Mellon account holders can access their HSA account information at this site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Once employees become PriorityHSA members, they are given a user name and password in their Welcome packet from the bank.
