Responsibilities
James Slubowski is responsible for information technology, business intelligence, corporate project services, process improvement, claims administration and enrollment services. He is also a member of the company's Executive Management Team and is a key contributor in setting the strategic vision and plan for the company. Work experience James previously served as a manager in the health care consulting practice of Ernst & Young. He also held a number of positions within the Detroit-based Henry Ford Health System. He is past chairman and past program development and membership chairs of the Managed Care Executive Group and is currently a member of CHIME. James has also spent time on the lecture circuit, speaking throughout the United States on a wide variety of topics including patient care and referral systems, utilization management, measuring health care with performance indicators, managed care information systems for an integrated delivery system and developing managed care information systems through vendor partnerships. He is also the author of "Information Systems in Managed Health Care Plans," a chapter that appears in The Managed Healthcare Handbook and The Essentials of Managed Care by Dr. Peter Kongstvedt, 4th edition.
