Responsibilities
As vice president of government programs, Leon is responsible for defining organizational priorities and strategies for Medicare and Medicaid market segments. He is also responsible for government and legislative relations. Work experience Leon has more than 21 years experience in health care, ranging from market strategy and product development to the general management of ambulatory care clinics. He has held positions with Intermountain Health Care (IHC), The Regence Group, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and the Northeast Regional offices of WellPoint.
