- Before members meet their deductible:
- Preventive health visits and procedures (as outlined in our Preventive Health Care Guidelines) are covered in full.
- They pay $30 every time they see a doctor or go to urgent care (up to 4 visits per year) - coinsurance applies after those 4 visits.
- They pay coinsurance for prescriptions - 40% for generic and brand-name or, for a lower premium, 50% for generic only.
- After members meet their deductible they pay a portion of the discounted cost of covered services. The percentage depends on which plan they select.
- Accident rider available
- Emergency care covered anywhere in the world
- Customer service available 6 days a week, including most evenings (Monday-Thursday) and Saturday mornings
- Members can cancel their plan at any time by calling Customer Service at 800 528-8762 - coverage stops at the end of that month
