PriorityPOS

Our PriorityPOSSM plan benefits employers who are looking for the flexibility of traditional health plan but need the cost savings of managed care. In this plan, we offer our same extensive provider network with two different benefit levels:

  • Preferred Benefit level - Employees choose an in-network primary care physician (PCP) and receive full benefits.
  • Alternate Benefit level - Employees can seek care outside the network without a referral, but must pay more for out-of-pocket expenses

More about PriorityPOS:

  • Members at the Alternate Benefit level who elect to use physicians, providers or services outside the network can always return to the Preferred Benefit level by working with their PCPs and our network.
  • If a member has not selected a PCP, one will be assigned to them.
  • This plan uses two different physician networks: PriorityPOS A for fully funded groups and PriorityPOS B for self-funded or shared funding groups. Contact your sales representative with questions.

Employer experience

For employers, we explain the difference between the preferred benefits level and alternate benefits level and how each affects plan costs. Plus, we tell employers what their administrative role is and the services we provide.
