Small Group Renewal Process

At about 90 days prior to your small group's renewal date, you'll be able to find your group's paperwork and information online in Rate Generator. Here is what you should expect throughout the renewal process:

  1. New rates are available
Starting 90 days before the renewal date, you will be able to review your groups' new rates online via the Rate Generator tool.
  2. Open enrollment
About 60 days prior to renewal, Priority Health mails a letter to the employer informing the group that it is open enrollment time and their agent has their renewal information.
  3. Reminder
If a group has not responded to its renewal information by 50 days prior to the renewal date, Priority Health will send you a reminder letter to check in with them.

If we still have not heard from the group by 40 days prior to the renewal date, we will send that group a reminder letter.

Contact the Agent Help Line with your questions. Your group's representative will work with you closely throughout the entire process.

NOTE: Priority Health does not allow mid-year benefit changes. The exception is conversion to PriorityMedicareSM plans for retirees: retirees must be taken out of the census before the renewal rates drop.
