Priority Health Medicare Advantage plans

In 2010, these plans are available in 31 counties in Michigan. Priority Health Medicare Advantage plans are priced to meet your client's needs and preferences. They've received a 5-star (excellent) quality ranking for two years running (according to the "Medicare and You"  handbook published by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) - learn more).

Features include:
  • Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage
  • Local customer service representatives available 24/7 to answer member questions
  • Visits to specialists without referrals
  • Worldwide coverage for urgent care and emergencies
  • Preventive care covered, such as annual exams and routine health screenings (including mammograms and prostate screenings)
  • Predictable copays that could mean significant annual cost savings

PriorityMedicare ValueSM (HMOPOS)
Perhaps your clients don't use their medical benefits very often. They may prefer a plan with lower monthly premiums. PriorityMedicare Value is an HMO/POS plan that offers the lowest premiums of all our plans. One simple plan. One low price.

PriorityMedicareSM (HMOPOS)
Do your clients use their medical benefits frequently? PriorityMedicare may be a good choice. They pay a slightly higher premium than they would for PriorityMedicare Value. But their copays and out-of-pocket costs are less. And there's no deductible for their covered prescription drugs.

PriorityMedicare PlusSM (HMOPOS)
With PriorityMedicare Plus, and HMO/POS plan, members have similar benefits as PriorityMedicare with the added benefit of enhanced prescription drug coverage. This includes coverage for generic drugs when they are in the "donut hole" (also known as the coverage gap). More coverage with greater peace of mind.

PriorityMedicare ChoiceSM (PPO)
Clients looking for excellence coverage with a surprisingly low cost should consider PriorityMedicare Choice. This PPO plan offers low office visit copays, low out-of-pocket costs and Part D prescription coverage, providing a better value than "Medigap" or Medicare Supplement plans. It's a good choice for clients who want to minimize the costs of routine doctor visits or other health services.
Note: Under this plan, Priority Health reimburses all covered benefits regardless of whether or not they are received in-network, as long as they are medically necessary.

Priority Health Medicare Part D prescription drug plan

PriorityMedicare RxSM is a Medicare Part D prescription plan offered by Priority Health under contract with the federal government.
  • It is available to any resident of Michigan who is eligible for Medicare.
  • Since Original Medicare doesn't cover prescriptions, it's a good option for clients who choose to stay with Original Medicare, whether or not they also choose a Medigap (Medicare Supplement) insurance plan.
  • There's no deductible.
  • Clients who are enrolled in a Medicare plan that doesn't include prescription coverage, such as a Medicare Savings Account plan or an 1876 Cost plan, can keep that plan AND enroll in this plan.
