Medicare certification

All agents who sell Priority Health Medicare plans (MAPD/PDP) must be certified.

New agents

First: Fill out and submit an individual plan agent agreement (885KB PDF) before you begin the training process.

Next: Complete steps 1 and 2:

  1. Gorman online agent/broker training & testing (we also accept AHIP training)
  2. Priority Health Medicare 2012 product training & testing

Existing agents

You must be recertified before the open enrollment period begins each October. Complete steps 1 and 2:

  1. Gorman online agent/broker training & testing (we also accept AHIP training)
  2. Priority Health Medicare Product Training & Testing

Step 1 - Gorman online agent/broker training & testing

Note: If you've already completed Gorman training or AHIP CMS certification for another carrier, go to Step 2.

About Gorman online training:

  • Cost for training is $99, payable by credit card on the website.
  • There are 2 self-paced training modules. After successfully completing the modules, you'll take a final exam.
  • You're allowed 3 attempts to pass your final exam.
  • Use the Gorman training manual to help you through the training. Download the manual (1.3MB PDF).
  • If you experience technical difficulty during training, contact Gorman directly at at 877 885-0880.

Remember: You must complete Step 1 before going to Step 2.

Step 2 - Priority Health Medicare Product Training & Testing

Finished Step 1? You're required to attend a Priority Health Medicare training class to learn about product offerings and 2012 pricing before you can sell for the 2012 plan year.

  • Classes run approximately 2 hours.
  • If you completed Gorman or AHIP training for another carrier, you must bring a copy of your completion certificate with you.
