Priority Health recognizes four Michigan seniors

(Grand Rapids, Mich. - December 14, 2011)

Four outstanding Michigan residents have earned the Senior Impact Award from Priority Health, which presents the annual award to deserving volunteers, age 63 years and older, who devote their time and energy toward improving their communities. As part of this annual recognition, Priority Health awards $1,000 to each recipient's volunteer organization.

"Priority Health continues to expand its mission of offering affordable, excellent health care for all," said Kimberly K. Horn, president and CEO of Priority Health. "As part of that mission, we are excited to once again celebrate seniors who volunteer and work to improve the communities where they work and live."

Each year Priority Health works with United Way and Volunteers Centers of Michigan to identify senior volunteers, collect nominations and select winners.
