Priority Health announces Kimberly L. Thomas as general counsel

Priority Health announced today that Kimberly L. Thomas has joined the company as general counsel. In her new role, Thomas serves as Corporate Secretary and advisor to the Board of Directors. She will formulate and implement corporate legal policies and be responsible for business and corporate transactions.

Prior to joining Priority Health, Thomas served as an equity partner with Barnes & Thornburg LLP, one of the nation's 90 largest firms. She was a founding member of the firm's Grand Rapids office, which now employs 22 attorneys.
Thomas earned her undergraduate degree with high distinction from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She graduated magna cum laude from the Notre Dame Law School in South Bend, Ind. Her legal expertise includes: mergers and acquisitions; corporate contracting; and corporate governance best practices. A standout early in her career, Thomas has been recognized by both the Grand Rapids Business Journal and the Business Review in their respective "40 Business Leaders Under 40" lists.
Her community service has included participation on the Boards of Directors of Gilda's Club of Grand Rapids, Girl Scouts of Michigan Trails and Grand Rapids Girls on the Run.
