Ray Sohn joins Priority Health as director of Individual Markets

(Farmington Hills, Mich. - January 6, 2010) Priority Health has named Ray Sohn, CLU, director of Individual Markets. In this new position, Sohn is responsible for providing direction and ongoing management of individual markets. Throughout Michigan, as many as 700,000 people are in individual plans which include group conversion, sole propriety, guaranteed issue HMO and individual plans. Sohn will direct product development, business analysis, sales and underwriting related to the individual market.

Prior to joining Priority Health in November, Sohn served as director of Individual Sales at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. His career in the insurance industry spans three decades and includes experience in both health and life insurance.

Sohn holds a bachelor's degree in business from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich. He earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from American College in Bryn Mawr, Penn. Sohn maintains offices in both Farmington Hills and Grand Rapids.
