Cycling clinic offered in Traverse City June 23

(Grand Rapids, Mich. - June 11, 2010) Priority Health will sponsor a Cycling/Cross-Training Clinic for seniors (ages 50+) at the Traverse City Senior Center (801 East Front Street, Traverse City 49686) on Wednesday, June 23 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. (free parking provided). The clinic will feature an interactive discussion with area cycling and cross-training advocates, register-to-win opportunities and refreshments.

"Cycling is a popular leisure activity for many area seniors, and a great way to keep active and fit," says Amy Miller, Priority Health. "We are hosting the free, interactive clinic in Traverse City to showcase some of the resources available to seniors in the area when it comes to making the most out of their cycling and running experiences."

Scheduled clinic topics include: profiles on senior-oriented cycling gear and accessories, nutrition/hydration for energy and longevity, stretching for injury prevention, area cycling route highlights and cross-training options. Speakers from Mc Lain Cycle & Fitness, Grand Traverse Pavilions, Priority Health, Priority Health Senior Cycling Team and the Traverse City Senior Center will be featured.
