POH helmet safety program

Priority Health has teamed up with POH Regional Medical Center to help coordinate a helmet safety program for 600 2nd grade students in Pontiac, MI. In this program, students and their parents will attend a class to learn information about:
- when they should wear their helmets
- how to "fit" a helmet
- road safety
- and much more
What's more exciting each class will feature members of the Priority Health Cycling Team.
The goal of the program is to reduce emergency room visits by children who weren't wearing their helmets. It kicks off March 23, 2009.
