Feelin' Good Mileage program

The Fifth Third River Bank Run is partnering with Craig's Cruisers, Ice Mountain, Priority Health, STAR 104.5 and WOTV 4 to offer the Feelin' Good Mileage Club to a limited number of elementary schools in Kent, Ottawa, Muskegon and Kalamazoo counties from March 16 -May 6, 2009. This is a free, effective, incentive-based fitness program for students in grades K-6. It helps students get fit while having fun!
Each participating school receives:
- Feelin' Good Mileage Club Study Guide loaded with fitness-related games and information
- Brightly-colored shoelace token every 5 miles (grades K-3) or a camouflage toe charm with matching backpack chain (grades 4-6)
- Free admission to Fifth Third Junior on May 6 at 5 miles (1/2 and 1 mile fun runs for grades K-3 and 5K run for grades 4-6)
- Award certificate every 10 miles
- 25" charm and backpack chain at 15.5 miles (25K)
- Special incentives from all the sponsors
At the end of the program, all students who have completed at least five miles will be entered in a drawing to win a new bike and helmet from Travelers' Protection Agency. Four boys and four girls will be drawn at random to win.
