(Grand Rapids, Mich. - November 12, 2014)
ThinkHealth, a new digital magazine released today by Priority Health, will help support consumers and business owners as they make health care decisions.

Health care can be complicated which can create difficulty for health care consumers trying to make informed decisions about benefits, health care services and costs. In fact a recent study conducted by the Urban Institute Health Policy Center found that only 39 percent of respondents understood basic health care and insurance terms.

"ThinkHealth reflects our mission at Priority Health to improve the health and lives of our neighbors," said Joan Budden, chief marketing officer for Priority Health. "This is a digital magazine built to provide timely, thought-provoking and educational content to help Michigan consumers address their health care needs."

ThinkHealth will feature Priority Health experts as well as other thought leaders and third party organizations across the health insurance, health care technology and fitness industries. The site will also highlight personal stories from individuals looking to improve their health and inspire others, as well as insider tips on how to get involved in activity-related events across Michigan.

Content will be organized in three categories: A Healthier You, Health Care 101 and Innovation.

A Healthier You provides tips on chronic disease management, personal wellness and wellness in the workplace.
Health Care 101 offers advice on making sure you get the right health care at the right time at the right price.
Innovation focuses on advancements in health care related to technology, health management and medical treatment programs.
"The magazine will bring a fresh voice to those looking to learn more about their health and the health care industry," said Budden. "With articles being added each week, consumers will have greater access to healthy living tips and information about navigating health care."
